We offer a leisure cycling track number 3016 which will take you along the river Smědá, from a mount Smědava to a border-crossing in Andělka. This route connects places rich in cultural sights with natural beauties of Frydlant region, and it is as long as 40,1 kilometres.

It gives you an opportunity to visit (within your journey) a historical town of Frýdlant, with its ancient castle and chateau, to take in a wonderful view from a watchtower above the town, to have a look at a carved wooden nativity or to visit an International religious Centre and a basilique in Hejnice. The name we chose for the track tells you about its character – the route leads along peaceful roads and picturesque places, and thanks to the fact that it never gets too steep, it is considered as very easy and suitable even for families with children.

From this leisure cycling track detaches in a town Višňová a track number 3039 called Pašerácká (Smuggler’s) which goes in the direction of Hrádek nad Nisou and then Zittau and Upper Lusatia in Germany. Then there is an opportunity to follow a track from Frýdlant and ride towards a border-crossing Srbská – Miloszów. Or change for a Karolina`s track number 3063, a Hubert`s track number 3064 or a Rybářská track number 3065 in the town Hejnice. The track ends by a popular mountain chalet Smědava. From there it is possible to follow a track number 22 going futher to the Jizera Mountains or you can return back to Chrastava via town Oldřichov v Hájích.

The ideal starting point for cycling trips is Bedřichov which is situated only a few kilometers from towns Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. From there you can follow several routes - to a water barrier on the river Černá Nisa or to Nová Louka with a popular stylish restaurant and over the brook Blatný Potok to a former glass-producing settlement Kristianov, with its museum. A journey over a hill Hřebínek, a rock Krásná Máří, a chalet Tetřeví Boudy and along the Štolpišká road promises beautiful trips to Frydlant region. And trips to the eastern part of the Jizera Mountains you can start in a town Tanvald and continue through a town Horní Polubný towards a mountain settlement Jizerka. The third starting point, from where you can easily reach either Hejnice or Souš, is Smědava. From there it is possible to go across the mountain ridge to a peak Smrk or across a ridge Hejnický hřeben to the peaks Jizera (1122 m above a sea level), Černá hora (1084 m above a sea level) and Holubník. The best starting points for disabled people are Bedřichov, Nová louka, Smědava and a carpark under a hill Bukovec (a settlement Jizerka).

Routes No. 3006 – 3064 – 3065 – for less efficient bikers.
