The local spa complex, with its historic buildings, colonnade and mineral spring and its expansive spa park interwoven with trails is the ideal place for a short walk. From here it is only a few, short steps to the unique “Obří sud“ restaurant, which is shaped like a giant barrel. Not far from there you will find three of the Viewpoints over Libverda, three of the five attractive viewpoints provided with a wooden stand and information panel, carved benches and statues. More able visitors can look forward to the Sunshine Trail (Sluneční cesta). During winter, Lázně Libverda regularly maintains circuits for cross-country skiing, trails that join up to the well-known Jizera Mountain Cross-Country Skiing Track. The area around the little town is plentiful in cycling tracks to suit recreational and sporting cyclists alike. The tracks of the Singletrack mountain biking trails beneath Smrk Mountain (Singltrek pod Smrkem), meanwhile, offer some 80 km of cycling in the Czech Republic and Poland, with access points only 0,5 - 1.5 km from the centre of Libverda.
